Business Expo – The Shop Local Fair is a free community event that brings together residents & visitors with the local businesses. Not only do visitors get to meet & greet the trades, they also get to participate in raffles and other fun activities. This event is still young, but is growing leaps and bounds every year.

Lost Dutchman Days Parade – One of the largest parades in Arizona! Over 50 years of celebrating our local heritage, this parade is a highlight to the weekend of Lost Dutchman Days every February. Offering rodeo, carnival, vendors, live entertainment, and more! This is a chance for businesses and non-profit organizations to join in and expose their cause to thousands of spectators! For more information click here

Superstition Open – The annual Superstition Open is held in the East Valley and is a big money raising event for the AJ Chamber scholarship fund. Scholarships are given to worthy teens from the AJ high schools. This golf tournament is not only great if you’re a golfer, but this is also a chance for businesses to advertise around the course.

Awards Banquet – The AJ Chamber Awards Banquet is a time to reflect on our previous accomplishments, unveil the goals for the upcoming year and to honor outstanding small business, large business, non-profit and volunteer of the year. We are hoping to expand these awards to include community recognition as well

November 11th and 12th, 2016
Festival of the Superstitions – Our big community event is the Festival of the Superstitions, commonly referred to as FOTS. This is a two day event that incorporates Veteran’s Day festivities, along with a car show, chili cook-off, live music, beer garden, kids’ activities, and food & product vendors. We get thousands of people through each year and, with good weather, everyone is able to have fun. Regular Events

Chamber Orientation – The AJ Chamber Orientation is a hands-on way for members to learn more about their Chamber benefits. They can meet the staff and volunteers and ask questions as to how they can be more involved. This is a great opportunity for local non-member businesses to learn more about what the Chamber can do for them and the community.   Monthly Mixers – Mixers are $5 to attend and benefit our Chamber scholarship fund. Attending this event is a good way to meet other members and stay up to date on Chamber happenings. Mixer attendance can be anywhere from 50 to 130 people and are hosted by a different member each month. This is also a fun chance to win some prizes!   Ribbon Cuttings – One benefit of becoming a Chamber member is to have a Ribbon Cutting where our Board Members, Ambassadors and City Council are all invited to celebrate a member’s Open House, Relocation, or Grand Re-Opening. This photo opportunity is then published in our local newspapers and online. A great way to get your name out into the community!

Quarterly Workshops

We bring in speakers on hot business topics as a benefit to our Chamber members. This year, we will be focusing on social media and how it can have a big impact on your business. We have teamed up with the City of Apache Junction to make sure these classes are what you want to know!
